Simple Picture, Big Problem.

Makeup for December 9
ISO: 800  f/3.5  SS: 1/80  Lens: 17-50mm

ALL I had to do was take pictures of Sharda James on a computer. However, the worst problems ever. Okay. So first I went out and took them as headshots. WRONG. So then I went looking for her and couldn't find her. FINALLY got her in here after almost missing lunch, couldn't get Lightroom to work. This picture was almost not meant to be. But here it is.
I cropped, color corrected. That's it.

Fail

Makeup for December 7th
ISO: 1000  f/2.8  SS: 1/40  Lens: 17-50mm

I was trying to take pictures of Casey and Rhylee playing together. I was having the worst time getting these pictures. Exposing properly. Everything. And look! SHUTTER SPEED IS 1/40! UGH! So, I've decided that these pictures were just a fail. They were.
I cropped and color corrected.

Yulefest

Makeup for December 5

ISO: 1600  f/7.1  SS: 1/250  Lens: Bigma

I volunteered to shoot Yulefest this year.  It was super horrible at first because the middle schoolers can't sing but once we got to the high schoolers it was pretty good! :)  The pictures above are the Texas High School choir and the TC Show Choir. I was pretty happy with how they turned out.

I cropped, color corrected and straightened the pictures out.

Yearbook Headshots

ISO: 1/100  f/3.2  ISO: 800  Lens: 28-75mm

ISO: 400  f/3.2  SS: 1/80  Lens: 28-75mm

ISO:  400  f/2.8  SS: 1/320  Lens:  28-75mm

I had to take head shots for the yearbook cover and these are the results. There wasn't a whole lot of editing, just cropping and a bit of fill light.

Family Pictures

Makeup for November 29
ISO: 400  f/2.8  SS: 1/500  -- Lens: 28-75mm -- ISO: 400  f/2.8  SS: 1/500

ISO: 400  f/2.8  SS: 1/500 -- Lens: 28-75mm -- ISO: 400  f/2.8  SS: 1/500
My family wanted pictures of all of us kids for Thanksgiving.  I was really just trying to practice how to pose girls and guys.  I hate the super bright background. That was a mistake, but it didn't turn out COMPLETELY terrible. I'm proud that I was at least able to properly expose all of the people.
I cropped, added a bit of fill light and added some brushes. I used teeth whitening, iris enhancement (because we're all lucky enough to have really pretty, blue eyes!) and skin smoother brushes.
In the first two pictures, I added a color filter.
